08/01/2012 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Cameron is a solid, athletic C/RHP that will graduate in 2015. Currently, he shows slightly better as a catcher for the next level but has an upside on the mound. His feet are active as he works in line to his target through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times show a range of 2.05 - 2.14 with accuracy, life, and on line carry on his throws. He will control the running game with his feet / arm as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Receiving / blocking show as quality tools that will play well at the next level. At the plate, Williams continues to shine as he displays outstanding hitting / power numbers. He shows an athletic setup with quick hands that generate plus bat speed. Barrel accuracy is a plus with the baseball exploding off the bat when centered. His lower half works well through the swing as he will hit and hit with power. At the event, he was 3 for 5 with a 2B. On the mound, his fastball showed a range of 81-83 mph with slight arm side run. Breaking ball shows as a quality pitch that will get outs at the next level. Command / control are a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches, locating to both sides of the plate. With 3 years to further develop, Cameron has the makings to be a special type player that and will get looks from the collegiate coaches, possibly as a two-way player.
