06/14/2019 - Baseball Factory Select Training at the College World Series (Ages 14-18) Camron is an athletic and lanky 2020 OF prospect. In the OF, Camron is on time with his prep step, he plays through ground balls, and tries to create angles to the ball. He needs to improve his footwork when throwing and improve his arm strength. At the plate, Camron starts in a narrow stance, loads his hands back into the drive position, and keeps the barrel on plane with the ball. He looks to do damage on the fastball early and hits the ball to all fields. He needs to continue to stay back on the ball and hit off a firm front side to prevent him from committing to the ball to early. Camron will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

04/07/2019 - College PREP - Bowie, MD Camron is an OF prospect who will graduate in 2020. In the field, Camron shows fluid footwork and flashes good range to his glove side. He gets into a low position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them on-line to his target. Camron can improve defensively by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a square stride. He gets back into his load and drives the ball to his pull side. Working a smoother rhythm into his load can help Camron improve as a hitter. Overall, Camron is a developing prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
