09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Camron is an OF/1B prospect who showcased his skills during the All-Region Tournament. In the field, Camron shows active footwork and makes the routine plays, keeping his throws accurate with carry through his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes an aggressive hack, producing strong line drives. Overall, Camron is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

05/02/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Fort Lauderdale, FL Camron is an OF/1B who will graduate in 2023. Medium frame, high waist, with an athletic build and plenty of room to add more strength. Primary OF, efficient feet enable him to take good routes to balls. 1 hand field from a square fielding position. Showed good instincts as he worked behind and through the baseball. Clean transfers working into a high 3/4 arm slot with accurate/on-line throws into infield at 84mph. At 1B, he starts with quick/active footwork to attack the baseball. Creates good fielding angles and fields from the ground up. Athletic actions who showed good footwork around the bag. Long/loose arm action into a high 3/4 release point with accurate/on-line throws at 84mph. A left-handed hitter, starts with a crouched and square stance. Short stride, with a simple load, allows him to stay balanced at contact. Good hip rotation with ability to stay in his legs throughout swing. Barrel control with ability to hit line drives to all fields. Linear bat path who made hard/square contact out front with a bat exit velocity of 85mph. With continued growth and development, we foresee him having a bright future on the baseball diamond.

12/20/2020 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Camron is a coachable OF/1B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament. In the field, Camron shows active footwork with a quick first step. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He has a clean exchange and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. Long tossing can help Camron build up his arm strength. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He gets his hands activated in his load and remains centered in his lower half. He works through a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to consistent line drives to all fields. Camron can improve his timing at the plate by getting into his load sooner. Overall, Camron is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
