01/30/2022 - All-In Membership - Indianapolis, IN Carter is a MIF prospect who will graduate in 2023. In the field, Carter shows active footwork and creates good angles. He fields in an athletic position and has a clean exchange. He gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate/on-line throws across the diamond. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He shows smooth rhythm and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a direct swing with fast bat speed, producing strong line drives. Overall, Carter is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
