07/20/2020 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Stockton (Sacramento), CA
Carter continues to work hard on his skills. With the bat, this righty stands in well with centered balance getting back into a loaded position. He takes a hack, creates extension through contact and sprays the ball to all parts of the field. At 2B, he has active prep and is aggressive to come and get the GB. He tracks the ball into his mitt, makes that player and gathers well. Working on his approach (right to left) while playing through the ball more will aid in his defensive development. Only a 2025 grad - Tidwell still has a ton of time to progress and physically mature.
