10/05/2022 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic (2025) Cash is a C in the 2025 class. Behind the plate, he has active feet and sits in a low and athletic stance. He receives well and can stick the pitch. Keeps his eyes behind the baseball and can maintain the pitch in the zone. His exchanges are clean and uses short arm action. Releases from a quick high ¾ slot for 2.19 pops on the bag. Is a solid battery partner and pitchers enjoy throwing to him. At the plate, He begins with a squared stance and uses a short stride to be on-time for the pitch. Loads his body well and the swing is very fluid. Gets his backside through the pitch with excellent bat whip (91 exit velo). Generates hard contact on a line and into the gaps. Overall, Cash is a 2025 must follow.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Cash is a C/1B prospect who showcased his skills during the Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament. Behind the dish, Cash shows fluid footwork and centers dirt balls in the middle of his body. He sits in an athletic stance and receives with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through the 2B bag. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance with center balance. He is smooth to load and leads well with his lower half. He extends through the ball with fast bat speed, driving the ball from gap to gap. Overall, Cash is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Cash is a hard worker who just continues to make improvements every time that we see him. Offensively, this RHH displays a tall/open stance with smooth rhythm to work back into a strong load/launch position. Hands are quick as he fires the barrel with + bat speed and engages his lower 1/2, driving the ball from gap-to-gap. Behind the dish, he sits in with athletic actions and tracks pitches into a soft mitt. He creates good angles laterally and works to center/deaden balls in the dirt off of his chest. Transfer is clean with pop times now a his best of 2.28. Times will only continue to drop as he quickens his exchange. Only a 2025 grad - Pinson is a very talented young prospect who has a very bright future ahead on him in the game.

10/14/2020 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Cash continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the plate, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He utilizes his body well, centering balls out front. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.29 with accuracy on his throws and he will back pick, throwing behind runners well. He communicates well with pitching staff and is a leader behind the dish. Offensively, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the baseball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. At the event, he was 2 for 8. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

08/23/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Nashville, TN Cash continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body during the blocking process centering balls out front. Receiving / blocking skills show as outstanding tools that will play well. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.30 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. He attacks balls with his feet and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. At the plate, he continues to shine, through an athletic setup. He is aggressive as he attacks balls through a level swing path. Hands are quick and stays inside the ball utilizing all fields through a line drive approach.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Cash is a talented C/1B that continues to grow and develop that showed well at the Rookie Pre-Season All-American. Behind the dish Cash shows athletic and relaxed actions receiving the ball with quiet hands. His secondary is low and athletic as he works to throw making a clean exchange as he delivers the ball to the 1B side of the bag. Blocking, he shows quick and effective footwork blocking on time showing good angles to keep the ball centered to him. At the plate, Cash sets up in an open stance with loose hands taking a simple load to start his swing. He gets his foot down on time firing his lower half through getting good extension through contact. He makes consistent contact as he rotates his core showing the ability to hit to all fields but pop to the pull side. Cash shows a solid foundation behind the plate and will continue to grow and develop.

12/27/2019 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic (Ages 12-14) Cash is a lean and athletic C/1B that showed well in Dodgertown. Behind the dish, Cash showed a low primary stance tracking the ball well and receiving with a relaxed mitt. He gets into a square and athletic secondary with good footwork making clean exchanges to throw to 2B. His throws to 2B are accurate with good carry. Blocking, Cash shows agile footwork creating good angles to keep the ball in front of him. At the plate, Cash sets up in an open stance with loose hands as he starts his load. He keeps his body under control as he fires his lower half through getting the barrel on plane early. He shows plus barrel control as he rotates his core showing a solid line drive approach. Cash brought great energy every day to the field and showed good baseball IQ. We look forward to seeing Cash's progress.

08/25/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Cash is a tall/thin, 2-way player who catches and plays 1st base. Behind the plate, Cash has quick/active feet, soft/presentable hands, and he tracks the ball well. He takes good angles to block, deadens it softly, and gains ground with an accurate arm to 2nd base. Pop times were as low as 2.4 seconds to 2nd base. At 1B, Cash has athletic actions, active feet, and a soft glove. He fields cleanly, his exchange is quick, and he throws with accuracy to his target. Offensively, Cash has a square set-up, quick hands, and he swings aggressively. He swings in good rhythm, has good feel for the barrel, and he makes hard contact. Solid skills can get even better with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
