01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) Chance is an athletic OF in the 2022 class out of Magnolia, TX who had a solid showing at the AZ Preseason event. In the OF, he moves well for his frame (6’0/175). His 7.18 60 yd shows he can cover real estate from the line to gaps. Has a good 1st step and his angles allow him to cut down the distance of the baseball. Playing with more of an aggressive manner from field to throw will quicken his actions. At the plate, he has a strong base and athletic set up. He stays square to the plate and his timing is excellent. Has solid pitch recognition and can use the backside of the field well. Power potential is there with an exit velo of 84. Chance is very projectable and there is still growing as a player.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
