01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Chase is a 3B who is a top prospect on the diamond. At the plate - he has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack - crushing the ball to the deep parts of the park (exit velocity = 90 mph). At 3B, he has plus lateral range, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws (89 mph velocity) zipping across the diamond.

07/04/2018 - Under Armour Firecracker Classic 18U, powered by Baseball Factory's Team One Chase continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he works to squares balls up but needs to attack and play through more. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with throws showing zip (87 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, power potential is now outstanding through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a solid feel for the barrel with the baseball jumping off the bat when centered. At the event, he was 3 for 9. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable. Chase will get looks from the college coaches with his baseball abilities.

04/08/2018 - College PREP - Plano (DFW), TX Chase is an athletic corner infielder who has a tremendous future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying outstanding hitting abilities with well above average power potential through an open setup. Hands are quick (89 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. At 1B, he displays smooth / clean actions. Feet are active and he displays proper footwork around the bag. Glove action is soft /sure and he presents well out front. At 3B, feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate with zip (84 mph velocity) across the diamond. Chase has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14).
