Chase continues to show improvements in his baseball tools. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.70 with throws showing accuracy. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a solid setup and presents a low target. He uses his body through the blocking process but needs to work on getting down quicker. At the plate, he shows an open setup. He has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Hands are quick and he makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and is a solid team player.
