08/21/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Colorado Springs, CO Chase worked out in the OF and on the mound during his last workout with The Factory. He increased arm velocity to 79 MPH and lowered 60 time to 7.14 seconds. In the OF, Chase gets in a good ready position, footwork is quick, and he fields low. He has firm hands, a quick exchange, and throws with accuracy and consistency to his target. On the mound, Chase has good balance, a clean arm circle, and he gets good extension on his pitches. He lands in a controlled position and competes in the zone. Offensively, Chase showed solid skills from both sides of the plate. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
