01/15/2016 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Shell stands a solid 6-foot and 185 pounds, and showed legit two-way ability. He appeared more natural on the mound, where he showed feel for a quality three-pitch mix. His fastball had some arm side life in the 85-88 mph range, and he showed signs of ability to command it. His breaking ball had sharp break in the low to mid 70s, and he used his low to mid 70s changeup very effectively as well. His delivery was simple, and worked in coordination with his arm stroke to allow for a high volume of strikes. As a position player, he featured a strong and coordinated right-handed stroke. He impacted the ball with authority, and showed feel for hitting to allow him to access his power. Defensively, showed solid hands and glove action and played through the ball well. His arm was accurate across the infield, and his throws had solid carry. Overall, a talented and capable two-way player with a lot to offer at the next level.
