01/13/2012 - Baseball Factory National Spring Training at Pirate City Chris is a strong, athletic two-position player who showed best as an infielder at Pirate City. On the mound, he has a sound delivery with good separation and pretty good command. His arm action can loosen, if he can stay taller on his backside, he will see better tilt on his pitches. Offensively, he has good balance and hits with some leverage. He shows pop, even to the opposite field. Bat speed and bat path are solid but his head position needs to stabilize. He gets loud at the launch phase and tends to lose balance to heels. At shortstop, he has a good setup and a clean approach. He can makes plays on the run and can use multiple arm angles. He needs to make plays out in front more consistently with the glove. He is a physical kid with good energy who has a chance to make an impact with his glove, his bat and his arm.
