05/02/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Rosemont (Chicago), IL Chris is a 2024 RHP. Tall frame athletic build with strength present and plenty of room to fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher with long levers and projectible frame. Does a good job of keeping eyes on target throughout delivery. Planes out and stays tall on the backside as he works down the mound. Pounded the zone with the FB that was up to 81mph. Mixed in a 12/6 shaped curveball with some depth and tilt through the zone. Upside/projectability for this young pitcher. At the plate, this right-handed hitter starts with a square and athletic stance. Showed some quickness to hands with good balance at contact. On-plane swing, with some feel for barrel, who showed ability to hit balls pull side and bat exit velocity of 77mph. Chris has a bright future on the baseball field with continued growth and development.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
