01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament (MS) Christian is a smart OF/RHP in the class of 2026 out of Glendale, CA. In the outfield, he displayed active footwork by taking good routes which allowed him to cover ground. He presents his glove well and works through the ball with a clean arm action. His throws wit consistently accurate with good carry. At the plate, he uses a tall stance with high hands and smooth timing to swing. He tracks the ball well to his barrel and makes square contact. Power/consistency will increase as he learns to stay inside the baseball more. On the mound, he really shined topping out a fastball at 74 mph and a strong tight slider that ranged from 61-62 mph. Christian is a projectable athlete who will only get better with time and we are excited to see what his future holds.

12/27/2021 - Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic Christian is an OF/RHP in the class of 2026. Defensively, he has active feet and gets behind the baseball. He has solid glove presentation and his exchanges are quick and clean. His high 3/4 arm slot produces accurate throws (75 velo) that are online to the base. On the mound, he displayed a two pitch mix. His FB topped out at 73 with good arm side run and downward tilt. His CB sat at 60 with 10/4 spin and showed signs of command. He has an advanced feel for pitching and projects to become a complete arm in the future. At the plate, he demonstrates power potential (71 exit velo). He has a solid base and drives through the pitch for line drives that can carry. Once he learns to stay back and let the baseball travel, he will lift pitches for power. Overall Christian is a solid player who keeps impressing with each event.

09/24/2021 - MS All-Region Tournament Christian is a 2026 OF/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the All Region Tournament. In the outfield, he shows active footwork and is agile covering ground. He fields from a square fielding position with hands out front and has a quick exchange. He showed ability to flip his hips and made 1 hand high catch. Showed good carry on his throws into infield with an arm velocity up to 74mph. At the plate, he hits from a square stance and takes a square stride. Keeps his behind the baseball and tries to keep balls in the middle of the field. A flat barrel path enables him to hit balls consistently into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 74mph. During the games, he reached base multiple times and proved to be a tough out. On the mound, gathers over the rubber, with a good balance position, and works in-line to target. He separates his hands on time and extends through his release. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 72mph with signs of command, a breaking ball sits at 59=-61mph, and a developing changeup. With 5 years of continued growth and development, Christian has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

07/30/2021 - Baseball Factory Pro Select Training at Jackie Robinson Training Complex (MS) Christian continues to shine on the diamond with his baseball abilities. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with his body. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a tall setup. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact and stays inside the ball through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 61-69 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with cutting action. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

07/22/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (MS) Christian is an OF/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the World Series at Pirate City. In the field, he works behind/through the ball with efficient feet. Showed good 1st reads as he gains ground to ball. He throws from an over-the-top arm slot and creates momentum towards target. Accurate throws with good carry into infield with an arm velocity of 73mph. On the mound, Christian gets a good rear hip coil and works with good direction down the mound. Loose/clean arm action with good extension to mitt. Works off of a FB that sat 68-71mph with some tailing action and an 11/5 breaking ball. In 4 innings of work, he stuck out 4 hitters, allowed 1 earned run, and induced soft contact. At the plate, he sets up in an even and upright stance. Stays tall throughout swing and has a short/direct barrel path to contact point. Sprayed line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity of 72mph during BP. Had a double, a single, and 3 base on balls in live game action. With five more years to develop, Christian has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Academic All-American Tournament (MS) Christian continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, he displays smooth actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He work to get behind and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with range improving as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a tall, squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 70 mph. Fastball shows a range of 67-70 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with medium break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic Christian is a lean OF/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he tracks proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls, playing through well with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through an aggressive approach. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, he throws from a arm slot. Fastball showed a range of 66-67 mph with sinking. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, plays hard, and is very coachable. With 6 years to further develop, Christian has potential with time and room to continue to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
