12/27/2015 - Under Armour Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic
Christian competed as both a RHP/2B with an athletic frame at the Under Armour Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic. Defensively, he worked his body to a good fielding position on-time, and was sure with the glove to secure the ball. His movements laterally were sound and he had a good exchange/transfer to throw and feed double play balls. With the stick, he worked his barrel on a direct path to contact and rotated his core to generate torque. He was selective at the plate, waiting for his pitch and his hands worked well allowing for late explode. Christian also showed exceptional baserunning ability, taking the extra bases when possible and getting quick dirt ball reads. On the hill, he threw his FB and an 11/5 CB from a simple/repeatable delivery. He kept his eyes on the target to throw strikes, and worked well on the outer half. Overall - Christian is a good athlete that brings good energy to the field day in and day out.
