01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Christian continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the OF, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays fluid actions. He utilizes his aggressive feet as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. He displays smooth / clean actions with hands / feet working well together through the fielding process as he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry (80 mph velocity) on his throws. At the plate, hitting abilities are outstanding with excellent power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (89 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he through his top velocity to date at 80 mph. Fastball shows a range of 79-80 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Control is outstanding as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Christian has potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Christian is a solid, strong RHP/OF who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he tracks proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying solid hitting abilities with well above average power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick 82 mph exit velocity) and work through level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach, flashing gap to gap pop. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 70-77 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Control is solid as he throw strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Christian has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
