07/07/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory's National West Showcase Only a 2022 grad, there is a lot to like about Christian. He performed well at the Baseball Factory West Showcase, making the most noise with his bat. He combined a quick, compact RH stroke with present strength to make loud contact in BP (93 mph exit velocity). The ball comes off his bat hard and his simple move to contact bodes well for him handling good pitching on a regular basis. Christian moved well in the outfield and has a natural feel for getting behind balls and moving through them to throw. His arm is accurate and strong (88 mph raw arm strength), and his speed helps him to close on balls quickly. Overall, this is an intriguing follow as a potential run-producing bat.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
