04/23/2023 - National Showcase - Parker, CO Christian is a tall, athletic OF who shows as a top prospect on the diamond. In the OF not many balls get down that are hit his way (7.31 60 time). Transfer exchange is smooth as he zips throws (101 mph velocity) on a line through his target. He has the versatility to play all 3 OF spots effectively. At the plate, he continues to shine. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (100 mph exit velocity) as he connects with power driving to all parts of the field. Lower half works aggressively through the swing with the baseball exploding off his bat when centered. Christian has tremendous upside and will get looks from top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

08/14/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Parker (Denver), CO Christian is an athletic SS/RHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. At SS, Christian shows fluid footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He has a clean exchange and gains ground well on his throws, working to keep them accurate to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square/athletic stance with centered balance. He hits against a strong front side and gets good extension through the ball with explosive bat speed, leading to great gap to gap power. On the mound, Christian gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Christian shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph. Breaking ball sits from 69-70mph with 12-6 break. Changeup sits from 68-69mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Overall, Christian is a talented athlete who will make an impact on the diamond in this only his sophomore year.

05/16/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Parker (Denver), CO Christian showed nice upgrades in many areas during his last workout in Denver. He increased arm velocity to 81 MPH, exit velocity to 94 MPH, and his power grade to a 55. At SS, Christian moves well to the ball and he fields low and athletically. He has firm hands, a quick exchange, and throws with carry across the diamond. Offensively, Christian has loose actions, explosive bat speed, and he stands in well balanced. He swings aggressively, can hit to all fields, shows plus pop in his bat.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Christian is a solid 3B/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, he displays smooth/fluid actions. Feet are active/aggressive as he takes good first steps in attacking the baseball. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a compact swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 74-76 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength and develop off speed pitches will aid in improving abilities on the mound. With 3 years to further develop, Christian has a ton of potential with time and room to continue to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
