07/28/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18)
Christopher is a coachable C/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City. Behind the plate, Christopher shows active footwork when moving to block balls in the dirt. He sits in a square position and receives the ball with firm hands. He gains momentum well on his throws to 2B which allows them consistently on-line to the bag. Christopher can improve defensively by quickening his exchange to throw. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and shows a smooth rhythm in the box. He gets decent bat speed through the zone and shows good extension. Christopher can improve as a hitter by taking a shorter stride and by working a load into his swing. With two more years to develop, Christopher has the time and potential to further progress his game.
