02/18/2024 - All-In National Showcase - Fremont (San Jose), CA Christoper is a gifted and athletic 2B in the 2025 class. Defensively, he shows quick feet that stay synched with his glove and body. His proper pre-pitch actions allow him to gain great reads off the bat and works to gain ground to the baseball. Obtains a low fielding position and transfers in the center of his body for a clean exchange. Shows advanced feel on his double play actions. Arm is accurate and can use multiple slots based upon his defensive zones. At the plate, he begins with an open stance and gains a short stride. Loads his body well and stays inside his feet to create hard (86 exit velo) contact. Hands are quick to the zone and looks to establish a line drive approach. Overall, Christopher is a next level player with a bright future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
