Christopher continues to shine on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering balls out front. Pop times showed in 2.25 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap to gap pop. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

Christopher continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.19. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, hitting abilities has improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At the event, he was 4 for 8 with a 2B. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.
01/12/2020 - College PREP - Monterey Park (Los Angeles), CA
Christopher is a strong C/3B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. Behind the plate, Christopher is active moving to block and centers the ball in the middle of his body. He sits in a low stance and receives with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and keeps his throws accurate and on-line to the 2B bag. Long tossing to build up his arm strength can help Christopher improve as a C. At 3B, Christopher shows efficient footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields with a firm glove. He makes a clean exchange and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. Christopher can improve as a 3B by working on his footwork on backhand plays. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He generates fast bat speed through the zone and produces solid pop. Working a smoother load into his swing can help Christopher improve as a hitter. Overall, Christopher is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.
11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 14-18)
Christopher is a young C/3B that will graduate in 2022. Behind the dish Christopher shows relaxed movements and presents a solid glove tracking pitches well all the way in receiving with a quiet glove. Throwing to 2B, he shows a quick exchange as he creates momentum towards the bag getting rid of the ball with a short arm action putting the ball on the 1B side of the bag. Blocking, he gets to the ball on time with effective footwork centering the ball and recovers to throw quickly. At the plate, he starts slightly closed and gets a short stride to start his swing. He gets his lower half through well getting the barrel on plane with a sooth rhythm and makes consistent contact. His approach is simple working to hit line drives and work gap to gap. Christopher will continue to get stronger and grow, building on his already solid foundations. We look forward to seeing him develop over the next few years.

Christopher is an athletic catcher who will graduate in 2022. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line to his target through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times showed in the 2.50 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program and works to get rid of the baseball quicker. He shows a squared setup and sticks ball in zone. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. At the plate he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. With 3 years to further develop, Christopher has abilities with time and room to progress his game.
