10/02/2016 - College PREP - Kansas City, KS Christopher continues to show steady progress in his baseball abilities with a promising future on the diamond. On the mound, arm strength has improved, now showing well above average as he threw his top velocity to date, topping out at 8 mph. Fastball showed a range of 80-84 mph with solid arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late / sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a feel for pitch with sinking action. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs at the next level. Control is well above average as he throws strikes with all his pitches, locating to both sides of the plate. At the plate, hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) as he works through a level swing path, creating extension. He has strength in his swing with baseball jumping off the bat when centered. With 2 years to further develop, Christopher has an upside on the mound and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches with his abilities.
