12/20/2020 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Christopher is a coachable C/RHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament. Behind the plate, Christopher sits in an athletic stance and tracks the ball into his glove well. He gains ground on his throws and keeps them accurate to the 2B bag. He centers dirt balls in the middle of his body and keeps the ball in front of him. Presenting his glove to the pitcher sooner can help Christopher improve his receiving skills. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance with comfortable hands. He works through a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to consistent contact and line drives. Christopher can barrel up more baseballs by working a smoother load into his swing. On the mound, Christopher starts with a simple rock step and separates his hands on time. He stays inline toward the plate and keeps his pitches around the zone. Christopher shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 70mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 62-64mph with sharp 11-5 break. Lengthening his arm action can help Christopher improve his pitch command. Overall, Christopher is a solid prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
