09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS) Christopher continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate is where he has improved the most, now displaying well above average hitting abilities with outstanding power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and has strength in his swing (90 mph exit velocity) driving the ball deep to all parts of the field. At the event, he was 4 for 9 with a 2B and HR. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Throws are accurate with carry to his target.

09/30/2020 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Christopher is a coachable RHP/1B prospect who showcased his skills during the Arizona Fall Classic. On the mound, Christopher works with a loose arm and stays inline toward the plate. He shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 79mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits at 65mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits at 67mph. In the field, Christopher shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate with life through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a soft stride. He gets his hands activated on time and is explosive driving his lower half through. He takes a level swing with plus bat speed, leading to loud line drives and gap to gap pop. Overall, Christopher is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

09/22/2019 - College PREP - Lynnwood (Seattle), WA Christopher is a strong RHP/3B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the field. On the mound, Christopher gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and extends through his release, finishing with a controlled landing. He works to barrel up the baseball and produces solid line drives. Overall, Christopher is a talented prospect who should find success going into his sophomore season.

01/12/2018 - 2018 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Christopher is a hardworking and talented 2-way prospect. At the hot corner, Christopher has an athletic set up and has a quick first step to the ball. He presents a low/early glove and works from the ground up. At the plate, Christopher stays balanced through contact and attacks the ball with his lower half. He keeps a quiet head and whips the barrel to contact. He is compact and drives the ball to all fields. On the bump, Christopher gathers over the rubber, separates on time and has good tempo in his delivery. He stays balanced and works downhill. Christopher will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
