03/24/2019 - College PREP - Greenville, SC Christopher is an athletic SS prospect who will graduate in 2020. In the field, Christopher shows fluid footwork and is agile covering ground. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Removing his glove pat can help Christopher improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting back into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with good extension through the ball, leading to consistent contact and line drives. Christopher can improve as a hitter by consistently letting the ball travel deeper into the zone. Overall, Christopher is a solid prospect who has the time and potential to contribute at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
