07/01/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Binghamton, NY Christopher is a young, 2-way player who can switch hit. In the OF, Christopher has playable hands and feet and he takes good angles to the ball. He makes the routine plays, his exchange is clean, and he throws with some accuracy to the cut off man. On the mound, Christopher keeps his eyes on target, he repeats his delivery well, and has good glove side lead. He has a clean arm action, lands in a square position, and is around the zone with his pitches. Offensively, Christopher is equally as good from both sides of the plate. From the right he has an athletic set-up, an aggressive swing, and he hits hard to the pull side. From the left side, Christopher has good balance, a long swing through the zone, and he puts the bat on the ball. Christopher can improve skills with work on the following.

1. Footwork
2. Fielding position
3. Arm strength

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
