10/06/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Spokane, WA Colby is a young, scrappy, 2-way player who plays OF and RHP. In the OF, Colby has active feet, agile movements, and he fields the ball squarely. He works behind fly balls well, makes plays consistently, and has a consistent arm with direction to his cut off man. On the mound, Colby has a clean arm circle, he separates his hands on time, and has good glove side lead. He gets good pivot off his back foot and competes in the zone with his pitches. At the plate, Colby has a tall stance, he loads his hands well, and hits line drives. He rotates his hips through and finishes high. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
