07/17/2023 - National Showcase - Minneapolis, MN Colin is a exceptional switch-hitting SS/RHP in the 2025 class. He has an athletic frame at 5ft 11/145. In the field, he has active feet and fast twitch actions. Centers his body to the baseball and plays with range (7.00 runner). Pocket has feel and can redirect the baseball with quick and clean actions. Arms plays at 88 velo and shows a quick release. On the mound, he has a quick and easy arm and hides the ball well. His FB sat 82-3 was was electric down in the zone. His SL/CB combo had tight action with late break at (CB 59-61, SL 64-6). His CH had run and maintained FB arm speed. Can come across his body at times, but still is effective. At the plate, he has barrel whip and a strong lower half engagement. Path is on plane and can use the middle of the field well. Right side is ahead of the left, but both will work at the next level. Overall, Colin is an excellent prospect in the 2025 class

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
