05/25/2014 - College PREP - Keizer (Salem), OR Colton is a RHP who has 3 solid pitches (FB, SL, CH). FB shows sink with downward angle as he fills up the zone and throws strikes (81 mph). Slider has 11/5 shape with gradual break. He works the ball to both sides of the plate as he stays directional. With the bat, Colton has a square setup with good balance. He likes the pitch on the inner 1/2 and pulls it. Walker is a strike thrower who has a bright future in the game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
