Moves with agility from a quick 1st step. Footwork is solid and plays under the ball in his fielding position. Hands are excellent and his glove presentation is next level. Can redirect the baseball with clean and fluid movement. Arm plays at 91 raw velo and his feeds are accurate with strong feel. On the mound, he is confident and stays composed in pressure situations. Arm action stays high 3 qtr in his delivery and has a feel for the zone. His FB sat 86-9 with a cut. His CB (72-5) is sharp and can get on both a 11-5/10-4 shape in the zone. His Ch ranged 78-81 and sat low and away to RH with cutting actions. Working to establish the inner half of the plate, will only increase his stock on the mound. At the plate, he can swing with intent. When he keeps his barrel in the zone and gains extension, he is a complete force. When he attacks the inside part of the baseball, he shows a clean and smooth swing that will compete at the next level. Overall, Connor has the opportunity to be a difference maker at the next level. Scouts feel he should continue to work as a two-way player and time will tell if he stays on the mound full-time. Overall, he will make a college program happy.
