12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Conner is a coachable RHP/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament. On the mound, Conner gathers over the rubber and works with a clean arm. He extends through his release and stays inline toward the plate, finishing with a controlled landing. Conner shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 70mph with arm side run. Breaking ball sits at 62mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits at 68mph. Long tossing can help Conner build up his arm strength. In the field, Conner gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He throws from a low 3/4 angle and keeps his throws accurate to his target. Conner can track down more balls in the gaps by working on his foot quickness. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and takes a soft stride. He works through a level swing and gets good extension through the ball, using the entire field well. Driving his lower half more can help Conner produce more pop off the barrel. Overall, Conner is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.
