07/11/2014 - 2014 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Team One South Connor continues to impress on the diamond. This OF can track down fly-balls with effortless actions and speed (6.95). He works behind the ball and plays through it aggressively gaining ground toward his target. With the bat, Cameron shows a well balanced approach with patience. He tracks the ball into the zone, hits it where it's pitched, and squares it up consistently. A strong & athletic OF - his all-around skill-set will get some attention from college coaches.

01/17/2014 - Under Armour Pre-Season All-America Tournament Connor continues to shine on the diamond. A well rounded OF with speed is in high demand. At the plate, this righty displays smooth rhythm and gets back into a strong loaded position. He stays through the ball, driving it with pop to all fields. He also is a threat once on base thanks to his quick actions and speed. In the OF, he works to get behind the fly-ball, is sure handed, and gains ground toward his target. He is not afraid to give his all and make the diving play. Cameron's skills will translate well at the next level as he has a bright future in the game.

10/16/2013 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic Cameron continues to show well above average abilities in his baseball tools and the makings of special type player at the next level. Foot speed is outstanding and utilizes his quick / athletic feet well in tracking to down balls through proper routes / angles as he works to get behind and plays through well. He reads balls well off the bat, covers a lot of ground, displaying range and shows a feel for his position as he backs up all bases. Throws displays life and on line carry on his throws as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. At the plate, Connor continues to sine through a squared / athletic setup. Bat speed is present as he displays quick hands that work through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and uses his lower half well with baseball exploding off the bat when centered. Once on base, he utilizes his outstanding foot speed and is aggressive in taking the extra base. At the event, he was 5 for 9 with a 2B. Mental makeup is plus as he has a positive attitude and works hard to be the best player he can be.

05/19/2013 - College PREP - Lebanon (Nashville), TN Connor is an athletic OF that will graduate in 2015. Foot speed is outstanding as indicated by his 6.91 60 time. He utilizes his quick, athletic feet well in taking proper routes / angles in tracking down balls through an aggressive approach. He moves well laterally, displaying range and gets rid of the baseball quickly with life, accuracy and on line carry on his throws. At the plate, Cameron continues to shine displaying outstanding hitting abilities and well above average power through an athletic setup. Hands are quick, generating plus bat speed through a level swing path. He uses his lower half well and displays solid barrel accuracy with the baseball exploding off his bat when centered. Conner has the makings to be a special type player and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches with his abilities.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
