Connor can improve as an OF by long tossing to build up his arm strength. At 3B, Connor makes the routine plays and works to make accurate throws to his target. Getting into a more athletic fielding position can help Connor improve as a 3B. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a closed stance and leads well with his lower half. 08/12/2018 - College PREP - Kannapolis (Charlotte), NC
Connor is a solid, athletic OF who will graduate in 2019. In the OF, he displays fluid / athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls but needs to play through more with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick (86 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Connor has potential with a lot of room to progress his game.
