01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Connor is a 2025 C/RHP who showcased his talents at the BF Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At C, he starts from an athletic position and presents a good target to the pitcher. He showcased a clean exchange and got rid of the ball quickly. He throws from a high ¾ arm slot and uses good momentum towards his target. He had a best pop time of 2.18s. At the plate, he has a square stance, a square stride, and an activated load. Connor did a great job getting his lower ½ through which led to hard contact. In game, Connor showed great plate awareness picking up several walks and battling deep into counts. On the mound, he showed a good 3-pitch mix. He has a fastball that sat 78-80 mph that he was able to throw for a strike. He has a curveball that he was able to work in any count and a change up that had good sink. Connor did a great job of working both sides of the plate and made hitters grind out at-bats. As Connor continues to mature, we foresee him having continued success on the baseball field.

12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Connor continues to shine with his baseball abilities at the Pirate City Christmas tournament. Behind the dish, he sits low in a comfortable stance and presents a solid target. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times showed in the 2.19 range with accuracy / carry (86 mph velocity) on his throws. He communicates well behind the dish. At the plate, he shows a relaxed setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, flashing gap-to-gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfer weight well. Connor has a great attitude, is very coachable, and works hard on the diamond.

08/04/2022 - Baseball Factory Summer World Series at the NY Mets Spring Training Complex Connor is a C who will graduate in 2025. Tall frame, with broad shoulders, athletic build with strength present and room to add more strength. Behind the dish, easy sit who showed good agility and quiet actions. Gains ground with good direction towards second base. Creates good blocking angles and displayed a soft chest as he deaden balls. Showed a quick arm with accurate/online throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and an arm velocity of 78mph and a best pop time of 2.17 seconds. A left-handed hitter, hits from an even stance. Uses lower half with good balance through contact and a fast bat. Flat bat path who made square contact and hit balls into both gaps. Reached base 5 times including a double with a recorded bat exit velocity of 77 mph during live game action. With 3 more years of continued growth and development, we foresee him having the opportunity to play at the next level.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Connor continues to shine with his baseball abilities at the Preseason All American Rookie event. Behind the plate, feet are active as he gains ground and works through a clean / transfer exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Pop times showed in the 2.22 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Hands are firm as he lets the ball travel and tracks well, sticking in the zone. He utilizes his body through the blocking process, centering balls out front. At the plate, he shows a crouched setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight from the backside into a firm front side.

12/29/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Connor continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. At the plate, hitting / power potential is now solid through an athletic setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage (86 mph exit velocity) with gap to gap pop. Lower half works well through the swing and he maintains balance. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt, tracks ball well and sticks pitches in the zone. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down quicker. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.12 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

06/25/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (MS) Connor continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. He did show on the mound for the first time. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact and stays inside the ball through a line drive approach. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times showed in the 2.38 range and will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a squared setup and presents a soft mitt out front and utilizes his body through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 67-68 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

Baseball Factory Denver All-Star Experience (12-14) Connor is a C/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame athletic build, with some strength present, and room to add more strength. Behind the plate, has an easy sit, with a relaxed primary position, and athletic actions. Creates good blocking angles and is quick to his feet. Beats ball to spot and presents good target for pitchers to throw to. Throws from a 3/4 release point, with a 2-hand exchange, and an arm velocity of 72mph and a pop time of 2.45 seconds. On the mound, right-handed pitcher who showed good mound presence and competes his tail off. He gathers over rubber, with a good balance point, and uses his lower half well to drive down the mound. Rotates to target while keeping his on eyes on target. Worked at the bottom of the strike zone with his FB that sits 67-70mph. Mixed in an 11/5 shaped breaking ball, with some downward tilt, that he was able to command as well. Throws a developing CH with FB arm speed and slight arm side run. Does a good job of mixing pitches and attacking hitters. In 2 innings of work of live game action, Connor threw 57% of his pitches for strikes and struck out 1 batter. A left-handed hitter starts with an athletic and open stance. Has a good approach, with a smooth swing, and rotates to contact. Hit balls into both gaps at 76mph. Reached base 6 times in live game action with 4 singles, a base on balls, and reached on an error. Another 4 years of continued growth and development will put him on track to have opportunities to play at the high school level and beyond.

03/13/2021 - Spring Pro Training Experience - MD (MS) Connor is a coachable C prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Spring Pro Training Experience. Behind the dish, Connor sits in an athletic stance and receives with a quiet glove. He moves on time to block and centers the ball in the middle of his body. Getting rid of his throws quicker can help Connor lower his pop times. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an open stance and takes a short stride. He shows controlled rhythm and hits against a strong front side. He works through a smooth swing and rotates his core well, driving the ball from gap to gap. Connor can generate more pop off the barrel by getting his hands activated in his load. Overall, Connor is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Academic All-American Tournament (MS) Connor continued to show improvements in his baseball abilities at the Academic All-American tournament. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the plate he shows a squared setup and tracks the ball well with soft glove. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.45 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program and works to get rid of the ball quicker. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side.

02/29/2020 - Baseball Factory Mid-Atlantic Combined Skills Training - Columbia, MD (Ages 12-14) Connor had a very good showing at the Baseball Factory Skills Weekend. He made a big jump in exit velocity to 64 mph and has a solid hitting foundation. He does a good job of keeping his head quiet and his direct path to the ball leads to consistent solid contact. As he continues to mature physically Connor should be able to limit a little of his backward lean and use the whole field a bit more. Behind the plate Connor showed good flexibility and strong, confident hands - 2 hallmarks of a good catching prospect. he is solid all-around with a good idea of how to present pitches for strikes. Overall, left-handed hitting catchers are always a hot commodity and we look forward to watching this one develop!

12/29/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Swarthmore (Philadelphia), PA Connor is a long, lean, 2-way player who catches and plays 3rd base. Behind the plate, Connor has active feet, soft hands, and good flexion. He sits in squarely, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a loose arm action to 2nd base. At 3B, Connor has active feet, a low fielding position, and he plays through the ball; getting rid of it quickly to his target. At the plate, this LHH has an open stance, a square stride, and good balance. He tracks well, has a level/compact swing, and he hits hard to the pull side. Solid skills can get better with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
