10/03/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Trenton, NJ Connor is a C/SS prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. Behind the dish, Connor shows active footwork and covers up well when blocking. He tracks the ball into his glove and has a clean exchange, making on-line throws to the 2B bag. At SS, Connor shows active footwork and gets into a square position. He fields the ball out in front of his body and has a quick exchange. He gains ground well on his throws, keeping them on-line to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a direct swing with fast bat speed, spraying line drives to all fields. Overall, Connor is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

08/21/2021 - Summer Pro Training Experience - MD (MS) Connor is a solid 2026 grad who excels with the bat. Offensively, this righty shows an athletic stance with rhythm in his load. He jumps on pitches he likes, swinging on a short/direct path. More power is in the tank with more lower 1/2 drive and he already produces a 74 mph exit velocity with his fast hands. In the OF, he hustles to his right and left working into position behind the ball. He secures the ball and works in-line toward his target. Gaining more ground and getting on a long toss program will both help to get more into his throws. On the mound, this RHP works to a controlled balance point and has smooth separation. Arm works loose & free as he fires from a 3/4 arm slot. FB shows some movement at 65 - 67 mph. Only a 2026 grad - Connor still has a ton of time to develop his skills to get to where he wants to be.

08/05/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Plymouth Meeting (Philadelphia), PA Connor is an OF/RHP prospect who will graduate in 2026. Medium frame athletic build with strength present and room to add. In the OF, he starts with quick/active feet, with good body control, and shows ability to cover ground in all directions. Takes aggressive routes to ground balls and has a clean gather off of his left foot. Fields from an athletic/low fielding position and fields the ball out front. He flips his hips and works behind the ball with a 1 hand catch. Has a long/loose arm as he works into a high 3/4 arm slot and his throws were accurate/on-line into infield with an arm velocity up to 75mph. He was vocal and took charge in the outfield during his workout. On the mound, he works with good tempo and keeps his FB at the bottom of the strike zone. Good lower half rotation, with good arm extension out front, and throws the baseball with intent. He attacks hitters with a FB that sat 64-67mph with some cutting action, a 10/4 shaped breaking ball that he has good feel for, and a cutter that flashes good depth. FB was best pitch during his bullpen. After watching his pen, I think Connor would be benefit from working from the stretch exclusively. A right-handed hitter, he hits from an athletic and even stance. Natural strength in swing and he doesn't get cheated at the plate. Rotates his hips to launch position and shows a fast bat through the strike zone. Hit balls hard into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph during BP. With 5 years of continued growth and development, we see this 2-way prospect having a good high school career and beyond.

03/13/2021 - Spring Pro Training Experience - MD (MS) Connor is a coachable SS/OF prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Spring Pro Training Experience. In the field, Connor shows active footwork and fields in a square position. His exchange is clean and he makes accurate throws to his target. Long tossing can help Connor build up his arm strength. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance with his hands held high. He works to barrel up the baseball and produces solid line drives. Connor can generate more pop off the barrel by driving his lower half more. Overall, Connor is a developing prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

02/27/2021 - Mid Atlantic Regional Pitching/Catching & Offensive Skills Combined Weekend Connor is a SS/RHP prospect who worked hard during the Mid-Atlantic Skills Weekend. On the mound, Connor drives his lower half well and works inline toward the plate. He shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 63mph. Breaking ball sits from 52-54mph with 11-5 break. Being more controlled throughout his delivery can help Connor improve his pitch command. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and shows smooth rhythm. He works through a direct swing with fast bat speed, producing strong line drives. Connor can create more consistent contact by taking a square stride toward the pitcher. With five more years to develop, Connor has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

01/17/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Connor continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. In the OF, he takes proper routes/angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls but needs to play through more with momentum to his target. At SS, he displays clean/smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

11/08/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - Manalapan, NJ Connor is a hard working 2-way player who continues to progress. With the bat, this RHH stands in with a square/athletic setup with active hands to load. He is aggressive and jumps on pitches he likes, swinging with some bat speed and looking to drive the middle of the field. Working to stride more square while engaging his lower 1/2 will help power to continue to increase. At SS, he has active prep and works into a square fielding position behind the GB. He tracks the ball into his mitt, gathers well and has a clean transfer to throw. He moves well around the 2B bag when turning the DP. On the mound, Landau throws 4 pitches (FB, CB, SL, CUT) from a high 3/4 arm slot and clean/smooth arm action. He maintains good tempo, remains compact throughout the delivery, and repeats well. FB now tops out at 61 mph as he throws it for strikes. Effectiveness on his CB will continue to improve as he works to finish the pitch and become more consistent on his release point. Slider has good spin - 54-55 mph. Only a 2026 grad - Connor has a solid skill-set with still a ton of time to progress and physically mature (get stronger).

02/08/2020 - Interactive Video Program - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Connor showed nice skills on the mound during his last workout in Palmyra. He is a strike thrower with good balance and a free/clean arm circle. He has good direction, lands with a proper length stride toward home, and finishes in a complete position. In the OF, Connor has soft hands, moves with efficient footwork to the ball, and his arm is accurate to his target. Offensively, Connor is a switch hitter. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
