07/29/2017 - Under Armour All-America Game, Powered by Baseball Factory Connor has a long, lean frame and everything on the baseball field appears to come easy to him. He is a natural left-handed hitter with a unique set-up, and he squares up pitch after pitch on the barrel. The ball comes off his bat with authority often leading to majestic fly balls to all parts of the park - and often out of the park. His advanced, mature approach in the box plays well against velocity and off-speed stuff. Connor profiles best in the corner outfield spots where he shows instincts as well an above average arm that even results in him sometimes jumping on the mound and pitching in the low 90s. Connor is committed to the University of Florida.

06/14/2017 - 2017 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Connor has a tremendous future on the diamond. At the plate, hitting / power potential are at a pro level. He has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Barrel is whipped (93 mph exit velocity) through the zone as he connects with strength. The ball jumps off his barrel as he crushes it to the gaps. A talented prospect - he will make things happen with the bat.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "present" abilities (tools), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year, using the scale below. However, grades 10-18 are not available for use with High School players (ages 14-18), while grades 55-70 are not available for use with Pre High School players (ages 12-14). These instances are marked as "--- N/A ---" in the "Description" fields below.
