04/28/2019 - College PREP - Phoenix, AZ Connor is a strong C prospect who will graduate in 2020. Behind the plate, Connor moves quickly and covers up well when blocking. He sits in an athletic stance and receives with a firm glove. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws on-line to the 2B bag. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and gets back into his load well. He hits against a strong front side with fast bat speed, leading to solid pop to his pull side. Overall, Connor is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
