12/02/2018 - College PREP - Pensacola, FL Connor is a lean and talented 2020 SS prospect that continues to improve each time we see him. At SS, Connor is on time with his pre-step, he presents a low/early glove, and funnels the ball into his body. He creates angles to the ball and makes the routine play. At the plate, Connor starts in an open stance and gets his front foot down on time. He loads his hands back into the drive position, creates backside rotation with his lower half, and drives the ball gap to gap. Connor has good hands and has an overall compact swing. Connor is a hard worker and we looks forward to seeing his progress in the future.

06/16/2018 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Connor is a fast INF with athletic actions. He was timed at 6.71 in the 60 during his time in Omaha. At SS, Connor makes plays on balls hit his way, he moves well to his glove side, and keeps the ball in front of his body. He has a clean exchange, and can throw from multiple arm slots with accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, Connor has a tall/open stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He has quick hands, fast bat speed, and he can hit to all fields. Look for Connor to continue to get better!

02/04/2018 - College PREP - Mobile, AL Connor is a tall, solid built shortstop prospect who has a talented skill set. As a right-handed hitter, Connor has an open stance with a centered balance. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and square stride as he uses his lower half throughout his swing. Connor shows fast bat speed with an upward swing path. He does a nice job creating leverage to produce hard contact. Connor has good rhythm and show pull side power. In the field, Connor shows solid range in each direction laterally. He does a nice job funneling the ball and fields the ball in a high position. Connor throws with a long arm action from a low 3/4 arm slot. He plays with good momentum through the ball showing accurate, strong throws across the diamond. Connor also does a nice job with his double play flips. Overall, Connor is a well-rounded prospect who has potential to take his game to the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
