10/04/2017 - Arizona Sophomore Fall Classic Connor is a compactly built kid who can do a lot of different things on the field. He has significantly improved in the speed and agility department, cutting almost a quarter of a second off his 60-yard dash time. He is a playmaker in the outfield, using active feet to get good jumps on the ball and cover a lot of ground. He takes good routes and angles, gaining ground and fields with soft, presented hands to make the play. Implementing a long-toss program will help him improve arm strength and become a complete defender. At the dish, he has a square setup with fluid actions to load and stride. He keeps the bat through the zone well with good whip and makes lots of contact with some pop to the pull side. Connor has upside and is the type of player we are excited to watch continue his development.
