01/14/2024 - National Showcase - Monterey Park (Los Angeles), CA Conor continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. At SS, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft and presents out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. Throws are accurate with online carry across the diamond. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 75 mph. Fastball showed a range of 72-75 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Control is well above average as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

06/29/2023 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (HS) Conor continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, defensive abilities have improved as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve his foot quickness. At the plate, hitting / power grades have improved through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, arm strength has improved as the threw his top velocity to date at 73 mph. Fastball showed a range of 69-73 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

12/18/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Thousand Oaks, CA Conor continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Hands are clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 72 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with tailing action. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament (MS) Conor is a team player who plays SS/OF in the class of 2026 out of Los Angeles, CA. At SS, he showed active footwork by getting good reads off the bat and covering ground. He works to get in a low fielding position and works through the ball with a clean exchange. He uses his short arm action to get the ball out quickly with accurate on line throws to his target. At the plate, he uses a square stance with fluid timing to find barrels consistently. He works the middle of the field with a short quick swing. Conor continues to impress with each event he attends and is seemingly always better than that last. We are excited to see what his hard work will do for his future.

09/24/2021 - MS All-Region Tournament Conor is a 2026 SS/RHP prospect who showcased his skills during the All Region Tournament. In the field, Conor showed ability to move laterally and has good glove actions. A clean transfer with ability to throw from multiple arm slots and an arm velocity up to 65mph. His throws were accurate and had a quick release. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and square stance. Takes a short/square stride, with good tempo to load, and has a high 2-hand finish. He sprayed balls consistently to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 61mph. In live game action, he reached base multiple times and proved to be a tough out. On the mound, he showed a good mound presence with a competitive nature. A 2 pitch pitcher, he attacked hitters with a FB that topped out at 63mph and a 10/4 breaking ball with sweeping action. With 5 more years to develop, Conor has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

07/17/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (MS) Conor continues to shine on the diamond with his baseball abilities. In the OF, he displays smooth actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He moves well laterally with range improving as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 58-61 mph. Fastball shows good tailing action. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory West Coast Winter Classic Conor continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, he displays smooth actions. He takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He work to get behind and plays through with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, hitting / power potential have improved through an open setup. Hands are quick (and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 60 mph. Fastball shows arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

Academic All-American Tournament (MS) Conor is a 2026 SS/RHP. Lean frame with some strength present and plenty of time to add strength. In the infield, Conor fields from a low and square fielding position. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot and is clean through the exchange to the throwing hand. Accurate and on-line throws to first base with an arm velocity that has been as high as 66mph. Showed ability to make routine plays during live game action. Secondary right-handed pitcher, showed good composure and some feel for pitching. Small rocker step with clean arm action in the back as he works down the mound with a good tempo. Showed good command of FB that topped out at 61mph. Mixed in a 11/5 shaped CB with medium break. In 2 innings of work he recorded 2 K's and no BB's. A right-handed hitter with a square/athletic stance and comfortable hand set. On plane swing who showed good barrel control and ability to spray the ball to all fields. Recorded a bat exit velocity of 68mph and his power will continue to improve with added strength. With continued growth and development, we foresee him playing at the high school and beyond.

Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength and developing off speed pitches will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

09/13/2020 - Official Player Development Membership - San Bernardino, CA Conor is a lean OF/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. Feet are active as he works to get behind balls and plays with momentum to his target. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared, crouched setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 58-60 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard resembling fastball. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 6 years to further develop, Conor has potential with time and room to improve his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
