12/27/2016 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Conrad continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. On the mound, arm strength has improved, now showing well above average as he threw his top velocity to date at 80 mph. He displays a sound / repeatable delivery, working in line and on time allowing his arm to work loose / free to the plate. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with late / sharp break and shows potential as being a quality pitch. Control is well above average as he attacks hitters throwing strikes with all his pitches. He shows good composure and competes on the mound. At the plate he shows an athletic setup. Hands are quick (82 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact with power showing best to the pull side. At the event, he was 4 for 7 with a 2B. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Feet are active and he displays a clean glove but will benefit by presenting hands more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable, works hard, and is a great teammate.
