06/30/2015 - College PREP - Rindge, NH Cooper showed as a RHP/SS in his first Baseball Factory outing since 2012. In that time, Cooper has developed his body and game to project well at both positions. Offensively, he worked the barrel inside the baseball and had decent rhythm to hit. He was balanced throughout the swing and showed gap pop. His hands and hips were coordinated to accelerate the barrel through the zone and with another two years to add consistency to his timing will be a continuous threat, offensively. At short, he worked to the baseball with body control and was sure to field. He made plays, and threw on-line to first. On the hill, his FB topped out at 84, he spun a 10/4 SL from 75-77, and showed feel for a CH at 72-75. He kept his eyes on the target, was compact in his delivery, and threw a heavy ball. In all - Cooper shows very strong tools and has time to add consistency for the next level.
