On the mound, Cooper gathers over the rubber and is fluid separating his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and stays inline towards the plate, finishing square to his target. Cooper shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 78mph. Breaking ball sits from 66-67mph with 10-4 break. In the field, Cooper takes a good first step and displays active footwork. He gets into position on time and fields with a firm glove. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with good life across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a square stride. He is controlled getting his hands activated and takes a level swing path. He rotates his core well and produces solid line drives. With three more years to develop, Cooper has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
