01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX) Cooper is an athletic 3B prospect who showed well during the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through a square setup. He gets back into his load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a direct swing with fast bat speed, leading to consistent contact and great pull side power. In the field, Cooper shows active footwork and takes good angles to the ball. He gets into a square position and fields with a firm glove. He gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate/on-line through his target. Overall, Cooper is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

10/24/2020 - Fall Pro Training Experience - So Cal (HS) Cooper is a strong 3B/C prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Fall Pro Training Experience. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through an athletic setup. He is smooth to load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a compact swing with fast bat speed and plus barrel control, producing strong gap to gap pop. At 3B, Cooper is aggressive attacking the ball and fields in an athletic position. His exchange is smooth and he gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate to his target. Behind the plate, Cooper sits in an athletic stance and receives with a quiet glove. He has a clean exchange and gains ground well on his throws, keeping them on the proper side of the 2B bag. He creates a good spine angle when blocking and keeps dirt balls in front of him. Overall, Cooper is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

08/10/2020 - All-In Membership - San Bernardino, CA Cooper is an athletic/talented 2-way player who can swing it. Offensively, this RHH shows an athletic setup with centered balance and fluid rhythm to load. Quick hands fire the barrel with + speed to and through the zone as he connects with strength. He hits the ball where it's pitched and drives it to the deep parts of the park (exit velocity = 92 mph). At 3B, he shows active prep and works right to left in his approach to the GB. He works low, from the ground-up, gathers well and has a clean transfer to throw. Behind the dish, he sits in low/athletically while presenting a good target. He tracks pitches into a soft mitt and gathers well. Transfer is quick with throws on the bag - pop times at 2.02. Stolnack is a skilled athlete who has a bright future ahead of him in the game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
