07/17/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Creed is a coachable C/RHP who plays the game hard. As a left-handed hitter, Creed has an open setup with a firm front side. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and a square stride. Creed has a long swing path and is developing bat speed. He has a good approach and battles through his ABs. Creed has the ability to drive the ball to the pull side. Behind the plate, Creed has an effective setup and tracks the ball well. He presents a low target and stays square to the pitcher. He receives the ball well and sticks it on the corners. Creed has a quick exchange leading into a short arm action throwing from an over the top arm slot. He has a quick release and is adding arm strength. On the mound, Creed works downhill and keeps his eyes on his target. He has balanced mechanics throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. He extends through his release and has a controlled landing. Creed does a nice job rotating towards his target as he finishes. Overall, Creed is a well-rounded prospect who has potential to advance his game with development.

04/15/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Fayetteville, AR Creed is a young, 2-way player who catches and pitches. Behind the plate, Creed has active footwork, and he sits in easy in a low/athletic position. He has firm hands, a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy and carry to his target from a loose arm action. On the mound, Creed has a repeatable delivery, a clean arm action, and he finishes in a complete position. Offensively, Creed has an open stance, a short stride, and good balance. He swings in good rhythm, has a short/direct barrel to the ball, and works it gap to gap. Creed can improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
