06/06/2020 - 2020 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Texas Creed has a presence about him on the baseball field that makes people take notice. He plays with a quiet confidence and always seems to take a loud BP, as he did at the BF Texas Showcase. His left-handed stroke works free and easy and he has pull-side power (98 mph exit velocity) with a knack for the barrel. Behind the plate Creed was 1.88 to 2B (93 mph raw arm strength) and showed sure hands receiving. Overall, a LHH catcher who swings the bat with authority is an attractive prospect.

01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Creed continues to show as a top prospect at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Runners will not want to test his cannon for an arm (90 mph velocity) with impressive pop times of 1.99. Offensively, he continues to shine through an open setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage, resulting in a barrel explosion (96 mph exit velocity) with the ball screaming off of his barrel. Creed will get looks from the top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his baseball tools.

10/20/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures Texas Creed is a pure catch and throw backstop who also will make an impact with the bat. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. Quick lateral movements allow him to center/deaden pitches in the dirt off of a soft chest. Runners will not want to test his cannon for an arm with impressive pop times of 2.00. Offensively, he continues to shine with pro level hitting / power potential through an open setup. He has athletic/smooth actions with fluid rhythm to load. He gets good hand separation and delivers the barrel with leverage, resulting in a barrel explosion (94 mph exit velocity) with the ball screaming off of his barrel. With 2 years to further develop, Creed has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches and pro scouts with his baseball abilities.

01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Creed continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. Behind the plate, pop times were in the 1.95 range with accuracy and zip (88 mph velocity) on his throws. Feet are active, working in line to his target as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. He plays with a ton of energy and shows the ability to handle a pitching staff with his receiving / blocking skills. At the plate, he continues to shine. Hands are quick (94 mph exit velocity) and work inside the baseball as he utilizes all fields. Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball jumping off the bat when centered with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, he continues to shine. Fastball showed a range of 86-88 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Control is outstanding as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Creed has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the top college coaches with his baseball abilities, possibly as a two-way guy.

10/07/2018 - National Tryout Plus - Georgetown, TX Creed continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and is a top prospect on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. Behind the dish, he utilizes his feet well in working in line to his target through a clean transfer / exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. He threw his lowest pop time to date at 2.00 with accuracy and zip (88 mph velocity) on his throws. He displays a soft glove and sticks balls well in the zone through an athletic setup. He uses his body through the blocking process, centering balls out front, and is a wall behind plate. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying well above average hitting abilities with outstanding power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields, and has strength in his swing with gap-to-gap pop. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date, topping out at 87 mph. Fastball showed a range of 85-87 mph with good sinking action. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with late / sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup, showing a plus feel for with sinking action. Off speed stuff show as quality pitches that will get outs. Control is well above average as he throws strikes with all his pitches. With 3 years to further develop, Creed has the makings of a special type player and will get looks from the top collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

01/12/2018 - 2018 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Creed is a hardworking and talented 2021 C/RHP prospect. Behind the dish, Creed has a solid primary and secondary stance. He leads with his glove to block and controls the ball with his chest. He has a clean exchange and creates momentum with his lower half to throw. At the plate, Creed starts in an open stance and loads his hands back into the drive position. He keeps a still head and has strong hands from both sides on the plate. Using the lower half will increase his ability to attack the ball from the left side of the plate. On the bump, Creed gathers over the rubber, separates on time, and has a balanced finish. Creed will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

01/13/2017 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Creed is an athletic (5'9"/175) switch hitting catcher who gives 100% and leaves it all on the field. Defensively, he sits in well with flexion and quiet actions tracking pitches into a soft mitt. Throws to 2B are on the bag coming from a clean exchange as he gains ground - pop times remain in the low 2's. As a hitter, Williams shows a square setup with centered balance. Swing is short/compact through a level path as he barrels the ball up and hits line-drives. He battles at the plate and proved to be a tough out. Letting the ball travel a little deeper along with creating more extension through his finish will help to increase pop off of the barrel. Only a 2021 grad - Creed has a sound skill-set with still a ton of time to progress. He has a bright future ahead of him in the game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
