02/24/2024 - National Showcase - Palmyra (Harrisburg), PA Cyprian continues to impress with his baseball abilities. At 3B, feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry (81 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he shows a tall setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 75-76 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving stock on the mound.

11/02/2023 - Baseball Factory Fall Select Tournament at JRTC Cyprian is a 6ft/176 3B/RHP in the 2026 class. In the field, he shows a positive 1st step and likes to play through the baseball. His exchanges are clean and can use multiple arm slots based upon his defensive zones. Arm plays at 80 and has life across the diamond. On the mound, he competes on every pitch. He shows a solid front side and works with great tempo. Slot is high 3 qtr. and gains excellent extension. His Tailing FB was effective low in the low at 73. He likes to work the corners with his 63 velo CB. At the plate, he flashes the ability to hit the ball hard. He does a great job of staying inside the baseball and can use the entire field. Had a solid showing with a .500 OBP (2 hits, 1 BB, 1 HBP) and drove a ball in the pull-side gap for a 3B. Overall, Cyprian has the potential to become a great prospect in the 2026 class.

09/24/2023 - National Showcase - Cleveland, OH Cyprian is a talented 6ft/176 3B/RHP in the 2026 class. In the field, he showed above average defensive abilities. His feet are active and gains ground to the baseball. He reads his hops well and his exchanges are clean. Demonstrates athletic ability by using numerous arm slots based upon his defensive zone. Arm plays at 80 velo and is accurate when he throws the top of the baseball. On the mound, scouts were impressed with his build and athletic movements. Arm action is clean and is consistently around the zone with his FB/CB. His FB sat 74-6 with tailing actions. His CB had 11-5 shape at 65-6. His CH is developing at 68-70. At the plate, he begins in a squared stance and gets into his back side well. Timing is smooth and stays inside his feet well. Path is direct and shows a solid contact point. Proves to be a line drive hitter with potential for more power in the future. Overall solid 2026 player to follow.

11/18/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Fall Prospects Tournament (HS) Cyprian is a SS/RHP who will graduate in 2026. Medium frame with some strength present and plenty of room to develop. At SS, efficient feet and ability to move lateral. Good rhythm to actions with good fielding angles. Works into a low/square fielding position with some feel for glove pocket. Short arm action into a high 3/4 arm slot. A right-handed hitter who hits from an even stance. Showed an aggressive approach at the plate and ability to make hard contact. In live game action, he reached base 2 times. On the mound, he showed a 2 pitch mix with the ability to get ahead of hitters early in the count. With 4 years of continued growth and development, we foresee him having the opportunity to play at the next level.

08/21/2021 - Summer Pro Training Experience - MD (MS) Cyprian is a 2026 SS/RHP. Solid frame with plenty of room to add more. At SS, Cyrpian showed ability to make routine plays. His arm strength stands out as he throws from a side arm slot and a raw arm velocity of 74mph. On the mound, this right-handed pitcher showed solid velocity and a two pitch mix. He throws a FB that topped out at 64 mph with some run and a 10/4 shaped CB with good depth. At the plate, this right-handed hitter hits from a square and tall stance. During BP, he showed a feel for the barrel and had a bat exit velocity of 66 mph. With continued growth and development, we see him having opportunities to play at the high school level and beyond.

07/26/2021 - All-In Membership - Greensburg (Pittsburgh), PA Cyprian continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At SS, defensive abilities have improved as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, he showed a range of 58-60 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard, resembling fastball. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound.

03/13/2021 - Spring Pro Training Experience - MD (MS) Cyprian is a coachable RHP/3B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Spring Pro Training Experience. On the mound, Cyprian gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a loose arm and accelerates through his release, staying inline toward the plate. Cyprian shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 60mph. Breaking ball sits from 51-52mph with 12-6 break. Changeup sits from 56-57mph. Keeping his head still in his rock step can help Cyprian improve his pitch command. In the field, Cyprian shows efficient footwork and fields in a square position. His exchange is clean and he makes accurate throws to his target. Cyprian can build up his arm strength by long tossing. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He drives through well with his lower half and sprays the ball to all fields. Getting his hands activated in his load can help Cyprian generate more pop off the barrel. With five more years to develop, Cyprian has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

12/27/2020 - All-In Membership - Pittsburgh, PA Cyprian is a lean RHP/3B who will graduate in 2026. On the mound, he works to a controlled balance point, has smooth separation and fires from a clean/loose arm action. He gets strong glove-side lead and stays directional toward the dish. FB ranges from 57-59 mph with sink. Breaking ball shows 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard resembling fastball. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean but needs to present earlier and more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. With 6 years to further develop, Cyprian has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
