09/12/2021 - All-In Membership - Frederick, MD Dallas is a strong 3B prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. At 3B, Dallas shows efficient footwork and moves well laterally. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he makes accurate/on-line throws across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid to load and drives through well with his lower half. He gets good extension through the ball with explosive bat speed and drives the ball with authority. Overall, Dallas is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

07/29/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Washington, DC Dallas showed good athleticism at 3B and on the mound at his last workout in DC. Defensively, Dallas gets in a good ready position, he fields athletically, and centers the ball well. He has good direction, his exchange is clean, and he throws with a long/loose arm with carry across the diamond. On the mound, Dallas has good size, he works well to his balance point, and gets good extension on his pitches. At the plate, Dallas has an aggressive/compact swing, good bat speed, and he can work the ball to all fields. Dallas will get better with work on the following.

07/07/2017 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (Ages 12-14) Dallas continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he has improved the most through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He works to keep hands inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to improve as he works to utilize his lower half more aggressively. At 3B, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and squares up well with his body. Hands are clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
