12/18/2022 - National Showcase - Thousand Oaks, CA Daniel is an athletic outfielder with strengths across the board. Flashed quick twitch athleticism in the 5-10-5 shuttle run and above-average lower-half strength in the standing broad jump (8'8"). In the outfield, he put these strengths in motion with a consistent ability to get behind the ball and finish throws with accuracy (arm at 80mph). At the plate, he went as high as 82mph with line-drive power and the ability to hit the ball hard on the regular. We see this 2023 grad perking the ears of college coaches based on his overall ability and his jovial demeanor on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
