07/29/2016 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Daniel is a lean, lanky RHP/OF who will graduate in 2021. In the OF, he utilizes his feet well as he makes the routine plays. He shows good game awareness and does a nice job of backing up bases. At the plate, he shows a balanced setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He will put the ball in play and makes consistent contact. Hitting grade will continue to improve as he works to get his stride foot down to work on time. Power numbers will continue to improve as he learns to use his lower half more. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 66-68 mph with sinking action as he hides the ball well. Getting on a long toss program will help to increase arm strength which will aid in his development on the mound. With 5 years to further develop, Daniel has abilities with time and room to progress his game.
